OKAY, I need to talk about timelines & verses and stuff! i figured i should clear this up for now because i’ve been meaning to for months. in terms of the timeline, this blog defaults as a post-game portrayal of rinoa. honestly, i want to say i’m writing her a few years after the game, rather than it being immediately post-game. my portrayal of rinoa is at least 20 years old. i’m writing a young adult rinoa, rather than a teenage rinoa. i’m more than happy to write her earlier in the timeline upon request but, overall, i’m happier to write her as an adult. i’m NOT ageing her up for unsavoury reasons (i won’t write n/sfw content on this blog bc of her canon age), this is purely for the sake of furthering development and characterisation & because i feel more comfortable writing an adult. again, i can write other timelines if asked to (immediately post-game, mid-game, pre-game, whatever) but please ask me about it! i know different plots will require different things! buuuuuuut, overall, my rinoa is an adult. i’m sorry if it’s a little confusing but it’s my blog so i’m doing what i want asdfghjhgfd!!

modern verse is a little more complicated but i’ve decided to line rinoa’s modern verse up with that of my ffviii ocs. i won’t go into the details of it all because that’s confusing and it won’t make much sense to anybody who doesn’t follow those blogs but, to that end, my modern verse will portray rinoa as having been born in 1996. if an explanation for this decision is needed, i AM willing to provide one but that’s where i’m placing this muse.
